How well do you speak English? Can you understand what people say to you?

The aim of English II lessons is to help you take everything you learnt about English until now and learn how to talk with other people. The main aim is not to help you pass tests, but to help you to communicate better by helping you improve your listening and speaking skills. Please read the syllabus below. It will tell you a lot of important things about the class.

Each student in your class is different. Please be polite and respectful to other students. Each teacher is different, too. Please listen carefully to your teacher in the first lesson. She or he will tell you many important things, such as the way the class will run and the exact form of evaluation (評価方法). Some things might be a little different to the syllabus, but that is because your teacher is trying to make a great class for you.

This class aims to build on the English language skills students acquired at secondary school. The main aim of the classes will be to help students to improve their listening and speaking skills.

Students will learn to use English as a means of communication in different situations through a variety of activities, including role plays, listening activities, projects, and so on, which aim to improve students’ ability to communicate in English.

授業外学習（予習・復習）
Students will be expected to complete periodic homework assignments and prepare for future lessons by reviewing the contents of earlier lessons, and as according to the teacher’s directions.

授業の方法と学習上の留意点
1回目の授業に詳細説明するが、参加型の授業であるので、基本的に欠席は認めず、また出席だけでも単位を取得できない。

　

成績評価基準
平常点が、小テスト、宿題、発表、授業参加、なども含む。1回目の授業に詳細説明するが、基本的に授業参加は６０％、評価テストは４０％となる＊。
